Deknudt Classic Designer European Range

The foremost feature of the Deknudt range is, unquestionably, its much-acclaimed gold classic mirrors.  The true beauty of a Deknudt gold mirror lies in the stunning, handcrafted finish to the frames.   

Using a gilding technique, gold coloured leaves are individually pressed by hand.  Numerous fine cracks, wrinkles and ripples are formed within its sculptured surface.  Then, in order to produce an antique effect, crazing, rubbing and the application of patinas in several colours finish the frames.  These are then fitted with the highest quality, bevelled edge mirrors, including thin strips or tiny pieces edged to tight tolerances and fixed with great precision.  All these procedures are designed to give the appearance of an antique frame and are testament to the genuineness of the product.
